Image-Guided Fluoroscopy System Visualization Technology, Incorportated Overview Image-Guided Fluoroscopy combines information from a intra-operative fluoroscope with an instrument tracking system and preoperative MR or CT scan. The real-time navigation combined with intra-operative imaging allows surgeons to more safely perform spine procedures. While consulting at Visualization Technology Inc, I assisted in the development of a surgical navigation prototype for spine surgery. Success of prototype helped to bridge a partnership between VTI and GE/OEC. A press release on the agreement is here.
